Wikihuman Project: Eyeing Disney Zurich Research


 


fxguide co-founder and Digital Human League member Mike Seymour has bravely volunteered to be the face of the open-source Wikihuman project. But, until now, we’ve lacked data on Mike’s most important and impressive organs — his eyes.

Fortunately, Disney Research Zurich stepped in and offered use their pioneering scanning system to create digital versions of Mike’s eyes. In this Wikihuman post, Mike describes the process of having his eyes and face scanned, and talks about the ground breaking work Disney Research is conducting in the field.
