Revolutionary NVIDIA AI-powered Ray Reconstruction tech now in Chaos Vantage

Summary:

  • Chaos Vantage now supports NVIDIA's DLSS 3.5, an AI-powered denoiser that enhances real-time rendering speed and visual quality.
  • DLSS 3.5 improves camera movement and scene recognition, allowing for faster and smoother previews.
  • This technology is compatible with NVIDIA RTX GPUs from the 2018 RTX 20 series onwards, without needing the latest hardware.
  • Chaos Vantage 2, update 1, also introduces refraction glossiness for frosted glass effects, scene state animations, and Intel ARC GPU support.

Experience high quality in real-time: NVIDIA’s AI-powered DLSS 3.5 denoiser boosts speeds by up to three times while preserving visual fidelity.

Chaos Vantage, our real-time ray-traced rendering solution, has become the first non-gaming application to support NVIDIA's DLSS 3.5 technology. DLSS 3.5 is an AI-powered denoiser that uses a neural network to produce high-quality previews, enabling you to iterate quickly and make confident decisions before you render. Thanks to its ability to recognize a wide variety of scenes, panning and moving your camera is smoother and faster, too.

You won’t need the latest NVIDIA card to use DLSS 3.5 — the technology will boost ray tracing on RTX GPUs as far back as 2018’s RTX 20 series. DLSS 3.5 will become the default denoiser type when using NVIDIA RTX cards with Chaos Vantage 2, update 1.

In addition to this groundbreaking new feature, the new Chaos Vantage update includes:

  • Refraction glossiness, for frosted glass effects
  • Scene state animations, for smooth transitions between different Scene states
  • Intel ARC GPU support
