This symposium is an incredible event for anyone working in the VFX industry, and the cutting edge V-Ray content will include talks from Chaos Group artist Simeon Balabanov on character rendering with V-Ray, and virtual reality in archviz. In addition, guest speaker Ben Kidd, from VR studio Hamilton & Kidd, will tell us all about CGI and VFX in virtual reality. This year’s V-Ray Day Dubai will bring the best of Chaos Group’s new products to the UAE city. In the morning we’ll look at how V-Ray can help the architecture and design industries, and join Jorge Barrero of Gensler for an exclusive peek at Dubai’s 3D printed office of the future. Vienna’s d2 has become an important event for architectural visualization specialists, and Chaos Group will be there. CG Technical Specialist Yavor Stoykov will present a workshop on rendering VR projects. Meanwhile John Sellings, technical editor at design agency Squint/Opera, will show off his tips and tricks for architectural films and visuals in his presentation and workshop.

Russia’s CG Event Conference launches its first spin-off show in Vilnius — and Chaos Group will be there. Shahin Toosi, Senior Lighter Compositor at Lipsync VFX, will be on hand to guide attendees through V-Ray for NUKE and NUKE Studio.
Shahin will cover layout, lighting, texture assignment and rendering from within NUKE’s compositing software. It’s also a great chance to catch a glimpse of the projects Shahin is working on.
