Join us in February 2020 for the first-ever Chaos Group Academy for Professionals to take place in the USA. We’ll join forces with our Official Partner and Authorized Training Center, Trinity Animation, Inc., to bring V-Ray knowledge straight to our users in North America with an intensive two-day V-Ray for SketchUp program. Designed for beginner or intermediate users, students, and professionals, this is a perfect chance to take your knowledge to the Next level and develop your rendering skills. 


About Trinity Animation, Inc.

Trinity Animation Inc. has been in business for 25 years and is a full-service animation studio and 3D software reseller based just outside of Kansas City in Overland Park, Kansas. They are also a Chaos Group Authorized Training Center, employing two licensed V-Ray for 3ds Max trainers, one V-Ray for SketchUp and V-Ray for Rhino trainer. Combined, they offer over 30 years of real-world experience. Trinity provides instruction in 3D applications such as 3ds Max, SketchUp, V-Ray, and Adobe products.

PROGRAM DETAILS

DAY 1: Laying the foundations

The first day will cover essential rendering theories and V-Ray knowledge. Topics will include:

  • User Interface
  • V-Ray Frame Buffer
  • Render engines
  • Image samplers
  • Lights
  • Global Illumination
  • Camera
  • Materials
  • Environment effects
  • Dynamic geometry
  • Render elements
  • All of the latest features of V-Ray Next

DAY 2: Putting theory into practice

The second day will cover the practical elements of V-Ray with a hands-on workshop. All participants will be given interior and exterior scenes with daytime and nighttime scenarios. Under the supervision of one of our top 3D artists, participants will work on these scenes and create final renders. The workshop will conclude with a group discussion. 

The V-Ray Certified Professional exam

Up to one month after the academy, you will have the chance to put your V-Ray knowledge to the test with our online V-Ray Certified Professional exam. Complete this successfully and you will be recognized as an official V-Ray Certified Professional with promotion on our website.

Jim Lammers, Trinity Animation Inc.

Jim Lammers is the founder and CEO of Trinity Animation Inc. He has co-authored a series of best-selling instructional books on 3ds Max and Maya, as well as many magazine articles and blog posts on the industry. Jim has a passion for teaching and has been heading classes or giving individual instruction on 3D all of his career.

Price

 This two-day program costs $995 (VAT included). 

This includes:

  • Two full days led by a V-Ray Licensed Trainer
  • Catered lunch both days per student plus coffee and beverages
  • Complimentary gifts including a t-shirt and pen
  • Official certificate and a flash drive with all educational materials
  • Use of computer equipment and software during the program
  • A one-year fully functional V-Ray for SketchUp educational license
  • V-Ray Certified Professional exam access and, if passed successfully, logos, certificate, and promotion on the official worldwide VCP professional list.

The price does not include:

  • Accommodation, flights, transport, visas and meals aside from the catered lunch each day.

Trinity Animation partners with local accommodation providers and will be happy to help coordinate your stay.
