Victor Hugo’s dreams came true when he created Marvel’s first-ever 3D-illustrated cover. At Total Chaos, he’ll tell his story and deliver a masterclass.

Victor Hugo’s Total Chaos presentation will be essential for all comic book addicts. This CG artist’s talent lies in making the biggest and baddest stars of graphic novels look cute and cuddly, with an eye-catching photorealistic twist.

He’ll also take you behind-the-scenes of the process of creating these larger-than-life characters in an exclusive masterclass on May 16.

I’ll share my experiences, successes and letdowns along the path from geek fan artist to the first 3D cover artist in Marvel history.

Victor Hugo, 3D Artist

In his Total Chaos presentation, Victor will talk the audience through his 15 years in the CG industry, from his early days as a fan of all things geek, to the highs and lows of teaching himself 3D, to his work for Walt Disney Animation Studios, Blur Studios, Marvel Entertainment and many more.

Victor will be giving the talk “Superhugo! From fanart to Marvel covers” as part of the Art track at Total Chaos. See the full schedule.
