If you’re a 3D artist, designer, student or developer with a passion for computer graphics this event is a must! You’ll be inspired by the latest technologies and trends, and you’ll see many amazing projects — some of which will premiere at Total Chaos. Plus, you’ll have the chance to network with some of the industry’s most important people, all the while building great new friendships. We do recommend having some prior experience or knowledge of computer graphics to get the most out of the event.
The main conference will take place on May 17 — 18, 2019, at Sofia Tech Park. There will also be a Pre-conference on May 16. The venue is located at 111, Tsarigradsko Shose Blvd., 1784 Sofia, Bulgaria. Explore the location on Google Maps.
The pre-conference takes place on May 16 and is for anyone looking to take their art to the next level through hands-on masterclasses with V-Ray and Corona experts. This day also offers anyone the chance to get certified in V-Ray on-the-spot to become an official V-Ray Certified Professional.
V-Ray Academy is a separate event that will run May 13 — 15 for V-Ray professionals that have been pre-selected to take part in exclusive training to help them become official V-Ray Mentors. Tickets are available now from our website. Choose between a Main conference pass that gives access to the full conference program; a Main conference: Student pass for those with a valid form of student ID; a Main conference + Masterclass pass for those looking to enjoy the full conference and take one of three Masterclasses on May 16; a Main conference: Developer pass for those wishing to attend the Code track series of presentations; or a V-Ray Certified Professional exam pass if you just want to attend the certification exams on May 16.
Total Chaos is made up of several components. We’ve designed passes to give you a choice of which parts you’d like to attend:
The Main conference pass gives you access to the main conference from May 17 – 18.
The Main conference: Student pass gives students access to the main conference on May 17 – 18. Student ticket holders will be required to show a student ID or another valid proof of student status when collecting passes at the registration desk.
The Main conference + Masterclass pass includes admission to one of three hands-on Masterclasses taking place on May 16, as well as access to all the tracks in the Main conference. Just be sure to select the ticket for the Masterclass that corresponds to the class you wish to take.
The Main conference: Developer pass provides access to the Code track only on May 17 –18.
The V-Ray Certified Professional exam pass includes admission to the certification exams that take place on May 16 only.
Once you have purchased your ticket, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to your registration information. Please download your ticket to your mobile device or print it out. You’ll need to show either the printed or electronic ticket at the registration desk onsite to receive your pass in return.
Be sure to bring a valid form of ID with you to the registration desk, along with your student ID if you purchase the Main conference: Student pass.
The reception desk will open at 8.30 AM on May 17 in the foyer of the John Atanasoff Hall at the Sofia Tech Park. If you select the Main conference + Masterclass pass and/or the V-Ray Certified Professional exam pass, you can collect your pass from 8:30 AM on May 16 from the registration desk in the foyer of the John Atanasoff Hall.
We ask that passes be worn at all times within the event area, both during sessions and receptions.
You can purchase a V-Ray Certified Professional exam pass to take a V-Ray certification exam during Total Chaos; this ticket will give you access to the room where the exams are taking place. Simply take the test and bask in the glory of your skills as a V-Ray Certified Professional!
If you want to visit the main conference as well, please make sure to also purchase one of the other ticket types.
To receive an invoice for the purchase of your pass, ensure you fill in your billing details in the registration form, which appears before you purchase your ticket. Your invoice will then be issued within the first week after you make the purchase.
If you would like to request a refund for your ticket, please email us at tickets@chaosgroup.com.
Refunds must be requested no later than 14 days prior to the event. Once your refund request is received, we will notify you by email if your refund is accepted. If approved, your request will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.
If you can't make it to the event, it’s possible for you to transfer your pass to someone else; we just need to know ahead of time. To transfer your pass, please email us at tickets@chaosgroup.com with the name and contact information of the person you are assigning your pass to and be sure to tell them to bring their ID with them to the registration desk.
Unfortunately, tickets can only be purchased online. Providing there are tickets remaining on the day of the event, you will be able to make a purchase through the website. Please stay tuned to the website and sign up to our newsletter to ensure you are informed on ticket availability.
There will be two discounts available for Total Chaos 2019 tickets, starting January 24 and running through to March 31. Super early bird* tickets are available from January 24 through to February 13; early bird* tickets are then available from February 14 through to March 31.
Regular ticket pricing will begin April 1 until the event opening, or until tickets are sold out.
*We have allocated a number of super early bird and early bird discounted tickets; if these sell out before the planned end dates, please understand that the ticket pricing will automatically increase to the next price bracket.

If you’re traveling from overseas to Sofia, you’ll be flying to Sofia Airport, the main international airport of Bulgaria which is located just 10 km east from the center of the capital city.
Maybe. Citizens of some countries may require a visa before they visit Bulgaria, so it’s a very good idea to check before you buy a ticket or book accommodation. We can send you an invitation letter in English to support a visa application, if required — just email us at totalchaos@chaosgroup.com if you need to request one.

Within 5-10-min walking distance of Sofia Tech Park, there is a bus station named after the local hospital “St. Anna” (often called locally “Okrazhna Bolnitza”). You can reach this using buses 3, 5, 6, 76, 84, 204, 213, 305, 306, and 604.
Prices for public transportation are currently the following:
A single ticket is 1.60 BGN (approximately 0.80 EUR).
Vouchers for 10 trips for one passenger costs 12.00 BGN (approximately €6.00). You can’t use these vouchers for subway transportation.
A card for unlimited bus and trolley bus trips for one day is 4.00 BGN (approximately €2.00).

A taxi ride from the city center to Sofia Tech Park should cost around 15.00 BGN (approximately €7.50).
