My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult
Groovie Mann and Buzz McCoy, recently had this to say about A Crime For All Seasons: "This album brought the TKK back to its beginnings. The album was meant to bring the listener back to a sensibility when TKK was more interested in expressing their views on social issues, especially that flammable combination of Christ, drugs, media hype, tragically hip B-movies, and overdoses of human hypocrisies. We knew that some devoted followers, (especially those who prefer the darker side of the Kult), were casually put off by the "disco-pop" of Sexplosion! and the surf-twang-cheese of Hit & Run Holiday. It was a conscious decision to reminisce and reinvent our earlier style: the old aural attack of synth meets guitar meets biting, seething vocals meets THE WORLD!".
