Japandroids recorded the album at Vancouver studio THE HIVE with POST NOTHING engineer with producer Jesse Gander for this record. The result is 8 tracks worth of DIY punk charm, anthemic energy and impulsive, youthful exuberance; not to mention one of 2012’s best albums. The album captures a raw, live energy and drummer David Prowse takes the vocal reins on the album. The AUS/NZ edition of ‘Celebration Rock’ will include 7 BONUS TRACKS, including 7-inch rarities “Heavenward Grand Prix” and “Art Czars”, as well as covers of NICK CAVE AND THE BAD SEEDS, PJ HARVEY, BIG BLACK and X.
