Starting in January 2011, the band began combining the ingredients for The Glorious Dead' - a process launched by The Heavy building their own studio and choosing to produce the album themselves. To mix the results, the band first worked with longtime associate Jim Abbiss (ADELE, ARCTIC MONKEYS) at PETER GABRIEL's famed Real World complex, then finished up with Paul Corkett (THE CURE, NICK CAVE, BJÖRK). The result is enthrallingly cinematic. Brand new single "What Makes A Good Man?" builds off the momentum of their previous international hit "How You Like Me Now?", with The Glorious Dead' proving to be The Heavy's most ambitious effort yet. Combining garage rock and Gospel-soaked soul, it's unlike anything you'll hear this year.
